Fish fry to honor veterans this Saturday

Several southside lawmakers are hosting a fish fry in honor of military veterans this Saturday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Watkins Community Center, 511 Fayetteville Road in Jonesboro. Veterans in Riverdale as well as Clayton, Henry and DeKalb counties are welcome. Hosting the event are Rep. Sandra G. Scott, D-Rex; Rep. Darryl Jordan, D-Riverdale; and Sen. Gail Davenport, D-Jonesboro.
