First lady Michelle Obama looks over seeds the students at Burgess-Peterson Academy plan to plant in their organic garden. Her visit is part of a series of events that marks the first anniversary of her "Let's Move" campaign.

The first lady visits the organic garden at Burgess-Peterson Academy. With the help of two volunteer master gardeners, the school has a curriculum based around the garden.

Collard greens, potatoes and bok choy are among the vegetables growing in the school's organic garden, students told the first lady. They also told her the garden gets water from rain barrels.

First lady Michelle Obama will speak at North Point Church in Alpharetta about the "Let's Move" campaign to reduce childhood obesity. The speech is carried live on www.letsmove.gov.

On Tuesday, the first lady appeared on the "Today" show in New York to talk about her "Let's Move" campaign that focuses on health and nutrition.
