A New York firm that wants to bring commercial flights to Briscoe Field says it is committed to hiring Gwinnett residents if it wins a contract to run the airport.

Propeller Investments said Monday it would “hire as many local employees as possible” if it’s allowed to operate the airport.

Gwinnett is considering selling or leasing the airport near Lawrenceville. Two other firms also have expressed interest.
