Three DeKalb County fire engines are on the scene of a woods fire at Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area.

The fire is contained and crews are expected to be on the scene throughout Monday night, the county said.

The DeKalb County Fire Rescue Department received a call about the fire, which encompasses about 10 acres, early on Monday.

Fire officials told Channel 2 Action News there is "no danger" of the blaze spreading. Smoke could be seen in the area off Klondike Road on the east side of the mountain.

Arabia Mountain is in east DeKalb, in the Lithonia area.

There was no immediate word on the cause of the fire.
