One person was hospitalized and several others left homeless Monday by an overnight fire at a Clarkston apartment complex.

Channel 2 Action News reported that investigators are looking into the possibility that candles started the blaze at the English Oaks complex on Church Street.

The unit where the fire started apparently had no power, the station reported.

"We did have one occupant who did suffer minor burns and smoke inhalation," DeKalb fire Assistant Chief Steve Ham told Channel 2.

That woman was taken to Grady Memorial  Hospital.
