Three people were taken to hospitals when a fast-moving fire destroyed or damaged 16 apartment units Wednesday morning at Lake Colony Apartments, a large complex in Norcross. Gwinnett County Fire Department spokesman Capt. Thomas Rutledge said two adults were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation and two people were hurt when they jumped from a second-floor balcony at the 188-unit complex off Peachtree Industrial Boulevard.
