Fire officials have not yet determined the cause of a fire in Tucker Sunday morning that destroyed a two-story home.

Gwinnett County Fire Department spokesman Lt. Colin S. Rhoden said crews were dispatched to the 200 block of Villa Place Court shortly after midnight Sunday. Upon arrival, firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze on the first floor, but the fire had already spread to the upper floor and attic. Crews then used a ladder truck to fight the fire, but too much structural damage had been done to save the home.

There were no injuries, and fire officials were still trying to contact the residents early Sunday.
