The Forsyth County Fire Department is sponsoring free, week-long summer camps for students.

Fire Camp, which is for students entering sixth grade, will be held June 4-8. Junior Fire Academy, for students entering seventh and eighth grade, will run June 18-22.  Both camps are from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Fire Department Headquarters at the Forsyth County Public Safety Complex on Settingdown Road. Campers may be dropped off  after 7:30 a.m. and must be picked up by 5 p.m.
