A 3-month-old Golden Retriever service puppy has been missing from a Milton nonprofit company for more than a week.

The puppy, Dorie, was stolen from her kennel at the Canine Assistants facility between the evening of Sept. 3 and the morning of Sept. 4. Her harness, leash and green service vest, which includes a Canine Assistants patch, were also stolen.

Jennifer Arnold, founder and executive director of the nonprofit that trains service dogs, said in a release that this is the first time in 25 years a dog has been stolen from the facility.

The hashtag #FindDorie has been seen on Twitter, as many are calling for her safe return.

The nonprofit informed the Milton Police Department of the incident. Dorie does not have a microchip, as the nonprofit typically microchips dogs between the ages of 12 to 16 weeks.

There is a $3,500 reward for her return, and a Facebook page has also been set up.
