Finance dept. cited for achievement

Henry County government’s finance department has been awarded a certificate of achievement in financial reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada for the county’s 2014 fiscal year Comprehensive Annual Financial Report.

This is the tenth straight year the county has received such a certificate, which the association calls “the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.”
