The city of Fayetteville has a adopted a new official logo and three new slogans to be used with it. The City Council unanimously approved the new materials at its regular meeting on May 7.

The logo depicts the facade of the new city hall, which is currently under construction on Stonewall Avenue at the site of the former Board of Education building. The basic logo is black and white, with four seasonal color schemes also approved for use. City Manager Ray Gibson said staff will determine which variations of the logo will be used on signage and other materials. The new primary city slogan is “No Limits on Imagination.”

Two others — “Embracing the Future” and “Innovating the Future of Community” — will be used for programs related to policy and community development and to economic development and partnership, respectively.
