Fayetteville’s official blueprint for planning and development over the next four years was adopted by the mayor and City Council at their March 15 meeting.

The 2018 Strategic Plan, which is posted online at www.fayetteville-ga.gov, outlines specific strategies for growth in the region, much of which has been prompted by the presence of Pinewood Atlanta Studios and the Pinewood Forest development, as well as an upcoming comprehensive redevelopment of downtown Fayetteville. The city plans to focus on transportation, infrastructure and neighborhoods, plus government and the economy. The plan is divided into four sections reflecting current and future goals, with year-by-year charts of proposed projects.
