A Tyrone woman was killed and one of her two passengers was injured during a traffic accident late Wednesday night in Fayetteville.
Fayetteville police reported that 23-year-old Charis Walker died on impact on Ga. Highway 54 East at Weatherly Drive after her Toyota Camry was struck on the driver’s side by a Dodge Caliber driven by Richard Jennings, 46, of Ellenwood. A 19-year-old female passenger in the Camry is in stable condition at Piedmont Fayette Hospital; a 14-year-old girl was uninjured.
Jennings is in critical condition at Atlanta Medical Center. Fayetteville and Peachtree City police are investigating.
