The Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services will test all of its severe weather sirens at 9:15 a.m. on Feb. 4. Officials are asking residents not to call 911 to ask about the sirens, which must be tested each year. If weather conditions are poor that day, the sirens will be tested on Feb. 6 instead.
