The Fayette Chamber of Commerce has chosen a marketing company to rebrand the county’s image.

Chamber President Carlotta Ungaro announced to the City Council of Peachtree City recently that New York-based Development Counsellors International submitted a bid of $79,963 to devise a campaign to promote economic development, talent recruitment and community cohesiveness. Ungaro said Fayette wants to focus on jobs and investments, and on attracting millennials and families.

DCI representatives will do a two-day “immersion tour” in October to meet with county entities, and a marketing plan is expected in March. The company has provided similar services for Chattanooga and Birmingham.
