Fayette Schools is adding four more sites for county residents to pick up meals that the district is distributing in the wake of coronavirus.

The school system said that on Friday Fayette citizens can pick up breakfast and lunch at Peachtree City First Baptist Church, 208 Willowbend Road, in Peachtree City, and at the Fayetteville mobile home communities of Marnell, 1512 Ga. 54, Four Seasons, 100 Apollo Drive and Kenwood Landing , 225 Club Drive.

Those sites join three others already in operation: Spring Hill and North Fayette elementary schools and at Fayette High School.

Schools across metro Atlanta are distributing food that would have gone to children had the districts not been forced to close because of the coronavirus. Many of the districts started out with a modest number of distribution sites, but have been expanding their outreach to bring the services closer to families.
