Fayette County residents living between the Whitewater Creek subdivision and the Starr’s Mill school complex along Redwine Road can follow the progress of the ongoing multiuse path expansion online. The county has posted a construction timeline and a draft concept plan at www.fayettecountyga.gov. The effort actually consists of two separate projects with different funding and schedules, but both are aimed at increasing the connectivity for pedestrians, golf carts and cyclists to and from the three schools. Construction is due to begin in April 2016 and last approximately one year.
