Fayette County has narrowed its search for a new superintendent to a single finalist. The school board announced earlier this week that Ware County schools superintendent Joseph C. Barrow Jr. is its only finalist. Ware’s resume is available for public review on the school system’s website, www.fcboe.org or at the Board of Education complex, 210 Stonewall Ave. in Fayetteville. Public comments regarding Ware can be made to school board members online. Written comments can be mailed or dropped off Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Board of Education office. A final vote on the school system’s new superintendent is expected during an April 29 called meeting at 7 p.m. in the boardroom of the BOE complex. Ware is not expected to make any public appearances in Fayette before the April 29 vote.
