Fayette County is encouraging people born between 1978 and 2000 to join a Millennial Advisory Committee being formed by the Atlanta Regional Commission.

Based on their “critical and unique voice,” such individuals would meet monthly with the ARC board and elected offficials to offer opinions about regional policy decisions. Fayette County Commission Chairman Steve Brown said he especially wants married millennials and those with children to join “because there are so few of them participating” so far.

Those interested must apply by Dec. 19
