The emergency management agencies of Fayette and Coweta counties are working with the Georgia Department of Public Health to build and maintain volunteer faith-based disaster relief and response networks.

The counties are holding a joint conference from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Cornerstone United Methodist Church, 2956 Sharpsburg McCollum Road in Newnan.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. but attendees should also sign up in advance at www.surveymonkey.com/r/TMYNBFY.
