The preliminary accreditation report for Fayette County Public Schools has been posted on the system’s website.

The AdvancED Engagement Review Report will be formalized in early 2019, but the preliminary draft was presented to the Board of Education this month. The 15-page document reflects the findings of an education committee that visited schools to observe classes and meet with staff and other stakeholders regarding leadership capacity, learning capacity and resource capacity. Ratings were assigned for areas that met or exceeded expectations and for “emerging” areas needing enhancement. The county met or exceeded expectations in 24 out of 31 categories.

The report is available at https://www.fcboe.org/domain/87.
