The Fayette County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for an open seat on the McIntosh Trail Community Service Board. The 15-member group meets monthly to address public services related to developmental disabilities, mental health issues and addictive diseases in Fayette, Butts, Henry, Lamar, Pike, Spalding and Upson counties.
The new appointee will serve from July 2018 until June 2021, and members must attend at least 80 percent of the meetings. Applications are available at www.fayettecountyga.gov and must be submitted by April 6. Information: 770-305-5103.
