Fayette County job fair targets industry

A job fair co-sponsored by the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce and the Georgia Department of Labor will focus on recruiting workers in the manufacturing and industrial fields.

The event will be held 3-6 p.m. Sept. 26 at New Hope Baptist Church’s South Campus, 1563 Joel Cowan Parkway in Senoia. Positions available for hire include assemblers, CNC machine operators and mechanist/programmers, electricians, engineer fabricators, field service technicians, forklift and laundry operators, CDL Class A and B drivers, maintenance mechanics, welders, pipefitters, sewing machine operators, tech support and warehouse technicians. Job seekers can visit www.employgeorgia.com to create an account for submitting resumes and to expedite the interview process.

Applicants should also bring their resumes and driver’s licenses to the event. Business casual dress is recommended.
