Fayette County High School’s stadium will soon be getting a new stadium press box, kitchen and restrooms. The Board of Education voted 4-1 Monday to approve $871,460 to replace current structures that were built in the 1970s. Board member Barry Marchman objected to the cost, but Facilities Director Mike Satterfield explained that plumbing and cooking facilities cost more per square foot than basic classrooms.
