Three paid positions will soon be open on the Fayette County Board of Family and Children Services.

The board’s five members are appointed by the Board of Commissioners to serve five-year terms. They meet every other month in Fayetteville and are compensated $25 per meeting.

The board acts as a liaison between the county and the public to help “assist disadvantaged individuals and families to progress toward economic independence and a more stable life.” The new terms begin July 1 and expire June 30, 2021.

Applications are available from Floyd Jones at fjones@fayettecountyga.gov or 770-305-5102 and are due June 24.
