The Fayette County Chamber of Commerce has created a Facebook page that updates the community about local restaurants, grocery stores and retail shops offering delivery and/or curbside pickup services for food.

The page, called Feeding Fayette, also notes changes to store hours and opportunities for senior citizens to shop during certain hours to further reduce public exposure to the coronavirus. Some merchants are also offering meals in bulk at special prices, meal kits for preparing foods such as pizza at home, and a few are offering free meals for children while schools remain closed.

Expanded delivery options through such services as Uber Eats, Grubhub and DoorDash are noted in posts, as are restaurant menus. Food-related merchants and organizations local to Fayette County are invited to post information.
