Fayette County has an opening for a paid member on its three-person Board of Assessors.

The board meets on the third Thursday of each month at the Administrative Complex in Fayetteville to determine the fair market value of all real and personal property in the county for property tax purposes. The open position is for January 2016 through December 2022 and will be paid $22.05 per hour.

Candidates must be Fayette residents over 21 years old with at least a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least one year of appraisal-related work.
