The Fayette County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved the appointments of six new or returning members to several local advisory boards on June 14.
Darryl Hicks, Pat Hinchey and Luis Matta were reappointed to new terms on the county Development Authority, along with new member Sameera Tillman; all will serve through April 2022. Irene Cheyne was reappointed to the Region Six Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Addictive Diseases Regional Advisory Council for a term that expires in September 2020. Lisa Mahaffey was reappointed to her position on the Fayette County Recreation Commission for a term that continues until May 2022.
All were chosen based on the recommendation of selection committees consisting of county commission members.
