The Fayette County Chamber of Commerce is offering a series of four workshops to teach local businesses how to take advantage of social media networking. The workshops will be held each

Tuesday at the Chamber office from 8 to 10:30 a.m. starting Oct. 27 and ending Nov. 17. They will be taught by Kyle Hensel, area director of Clayton State University’s Small Business Development Center. Topics include the use of Facebook, Twitter, blogs, RSS feeds and search engine optimization for low-cost marketing.

The cost for Chamber members is $49 per session or $179 for all four; the cost for nonmembers is $69 per session or $249 for all four.

Space is limited; participants must register by the Friday before each workshop.

The Chamber of Commerce is located in the historic courthouse at 200 Courthouse Square in Fayetteville.
