The appointment of four new assistant principals was unanimously approved by the Fayette County Board of Education on May 22.

Erin Yocom will replace Margaret Davis at Huddleston Elementary; Joseph Noland will replace Lisa Howe at Robert J. Burch Elementary; Shane Ratliff will replace Sandy Martin at Starr’s Mill High; and J.P. Ward will replace Steven Cole at Whitewater High. All four were promoted from within the school system, and were among 22 reclassified positions in the county for the upcoming school year.

Four retirements, 13 resignations and 18 more hires were also approved.
