Three Fayette County appointees will begin or extend their terms on two municipal boards, starting Jan. 1.

At the Dec. 10 Board of Commissioners meeting, Page McDonald was named to a four-year term on the seven-member Library Board, whose volunteer members represent different county jurisdictions and meet quarterly.

Alvin Gilbert and James Graw were re-appointed to three-year terms on the five-member Fayette County Planning Commission, which meets twice monthly regarding zoning issues. Planning Commission members are compensated $75 per meeting, and Graw currently serves as the chairman.
