Falcons' Roddy White reportedly hit with paternity suit

Dec 9, 2011

Falcons wide receiver Roddy White is on the receiving end of a paternity suit, according to TMZ.com.

The website reported Thursday that banker Stacey Hott is claiming in court documents filed in Georgia that White is the father of her son.

She is said to want White to pay child support for the 4-month-old boy.

"[White] is a professional athlete capable of providing generous support for the minor child commensurate with his earnings," Hott said, according to TMZ.

She also wants him to take out a life insurance policy for himself for the benefit of the child, the website said.

“I have no comment,” White’s agent, Jonathan Feinsod, wrote in a text to the AJC.

White, now 30, signed a six-year, $48 million deal with the Falcons in August 2009.

He was selected by the team in the first round of the 2005 NFL draft.
