The Fairburn City Council approved building a playground for a city park during the council meeting last week. The council made the choice of Gametime Inc. as the vendor providing playground equipment for Cora Robinson Park.

The council also approved the second phase of its city hall improvement plans, which detail the landscaping design and installation of new equipment in the renovated municipal building, and passed a resolution to adopt the five-year plan update for the Fairburn Historic Downtown Livable Centers Initiative Study. The study will help the city’s revitalization efforts of the downtown area.
