The city of Fairburn is hosting a public information open house to residents this week, to review and receive input on plans for street improvements to downtown Fairburn. The purpose of the open house is to review design concepts and receive feedback from attendees. The city hopes that improvements made to the area will attract more activity to its historic downtown.

The open house is 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Fairburn City Hall, 56 SW Malone St.
