Fairburn evaluates 20-year redevelopement plan

The Fairburn City Council adopted a 20-year plan to improve and redevelopment the city of Fairburn.

Mayor Mario Avery sought comment from the public before putting the motion to a vote.

A copy of the plan will be sent to the Atlanta Regional Commission and the Georgia Department of Community Affairs for confirmation , according to the minutes of a meeting last month.

The mayor and city council will then adopt the plan for implementation.
