The Fairburn City Council will discuss details of the city’s toilet rebate program during its regular meeting at 7 p.m. Monday at Fairburn City Hall, 56 Malone St.

Once approved the city will offer residents a discount or credit on the purchase of a new commode. The program is meant to promote efficient sustainability by encouraging people to buy toilets that use less water. Another item considered by the council is approval of a contract awarded to The Blount Construction Company, for the widening and reconstruction of Bohannon Road project. The council will also discuss entering into a facilities lease agreement with Fulton Leadership Academy and a one year lease agreement with Brenau University, to allow city personnel to use space in the two buildings.
