Forsyth Countians wanting to provide input on the future of the transportation grid are running out of time. An online survey on potential transportation projects that was set to wrap up early this month has been extended through Dec. 31.

The survey lays out a menu of potential draft roadway, intersection, bike and pedestrian projects and seeks feedback in each category. A county spokeswoman said that about 380 responses have been received so far.

It’ll be folded into the county’s next comprehensive transportation plan, updated every five years and designed to be a long-term roadmap. Combined with input from public meetings and work by Forsyth County staff, a list of transportation projects will be drawn up and considered by county commissioners. The plan’s set to be finished in 2018.
