Expect traffic delays due to Perimeter lane closures: GDOT

The Georgia Department of Transportation warns of possible delays, reduced speeds and detours due to nightly closures on I-285, Ga. 400 and local roads in the Perimeter area of North Fulton and DeKalb counties.

Closures for the I-285/Ga. 400 interchange project are 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., weather permitting:

Monday-Wednesday: Peachtree Dunwoody Road will be closed to southbound traffic from Hammond to Lake Hearn drives.

Monday-Thursday: The ramp from eastbound I-285 to northbound Ga. 400 will be closed.

Tuesday, overnight: Two right lanes of westbound I-285 from Ga. 400 to Glenridge Drive, and two right lanes of eastbound I-285 from Peachtree Dunwoody Road to Perimeter Center Parkway, will be closed.

Tuesday-Thursday: Traffic pacing is planned for northbound Ga. 400 from the Glenridge Connector to I-285; southbound Ga. 400 from Hammond to I-285; and eastbound I-285 from Roswell Road to Ga. 400.

Tuesday-Saturday: Two left lanes of westbound I-285 from Peachtree Dunwoody to Glenridge Drive will be closed.
