Crews with the Georgia Department of Transportation will be restriping the lanes of Interstate 985 through Friday, Nov. 30. This work will close a single left-hand lane on I-985 between Spout Springs Road and Mundy Mill/State Route 53 north and southbound each evening.

Northbound work will start at 8 p.m. and continue overnight until 6:30 a.m. Southbound work will start at 7 p.m. and continue until 5:30 a.m.

Drivers are reminded to slow down and drive alert through the work zone. Increased fines are in place for drivers exceeding posted speed limits.
