Single lane closures will occur between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. through Friday, May 10 on State Route 11/U.S. 129 at the Longstreet Bridge construction project. This daily single lane closure will allow crews to pour the concrete edge beams that will support the new bridge.
The Longstreet Bridge replacement project was awarded to E. R. Snell Contractor, Inc. in May 2017 and is expected to be complete by Sept. 30, 2020. This project replaces both bridges on S.R. 11/U.S. 129 the Longstreet Bridge over the Chattahoochee and Bells Mill Bridge over the East Fork Little River.
Drivers are reminded to slow down when driving through the work zone.
