Need to get your license renewed or get a state-issued identification card?

Well, don’t expect an easy time today, when the Department of Driver Services is expected to reopen as usual.

The computer system at the state's 66 locations went down Saturday and though officials plan to be in business on Tuesday, longer-than-usual wait times should be expected.

Spokeswoman Susan Sports said customers who weren’t served on Saturday were issued priority service tickets for Tuesday.

"That coupled with an already busy day will effect wait times," Sports said. "Customers are encouraged to visit DDS later in the week and check dds.ga.gov for each locations' wait time."

Some services can be completed online.
