Event to raise money for school in Uganda

Motivational speaker Kyle Maynard will speak at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the No Excuses CrossFit gym, 3580 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road, Suwanee.

The speech by Maynard, a congenital amputee, is part of an event that will raise money to build a school in Uganda. CrossFit workouts will be performed at the gym throughout the day until 4 p.m. The event also will feature music, prizes and a raffle.
