The West Atlanta Watershed Alliance has won a $5,000 grant from the National Environmental Education Foundation to hire a marketing consultant to help them better publicize their initiatives.

The all volunteer organization has helped preserve 400 acres of greenspace in southwest Atlanta since 1995 and educates residents on conserving water and cleaning up streams. Information at www.wawaonline.org.
