One employee was hurt Wednesday morning in an apparent explosion at a business near Cumming.

A call came in shortly after 11:30 a.m. about an explosion inside a business at 5760 County Line Road, Jason Shivers with the Forsyth County Fire Department told Channel 2 Action News.

The address matches that of Rub-R-Wall Rubber Polymer LLC, a company that makes rubber coatings.

While everyone else got out safely, one employee received minor burns. That employee did not go to the hospital, according to Channel 2.

The fire was put out by someone in the business, but light smoke was still visible at the scene, Shivers told Channel 2.

Crews were ventilating the building just before 12:30 p.m.
