Emory Lavista Parent Council to meet

The Emory Lavista Parent Council  is scheduled to meet at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday at Evansdale Elementary School, 2914 Evans Wood Drive, Doraville. The group represents 16 DeKalb County schools with more than 10,000 students including the Druid Hills and Lakeside communities. The meeting will focus on curriculum changes and state mandates in education. The meeting is open to the public. Information: www.emory-lavista.org.
