4 elementary school students injured in bus crash in Johns Creek

Four elementary school students were injured when their bus was T-boned by a truck in Johns Creek on Friday, Carla Murphy with the Fulton County school system confirmed.

The crash happened on Jones Bridge Road at Douglas Road, Channel 2 Action News reported.

The students were traveling home from Lake Windward Elementary School. Only one of the four was transported to a hospital for treatment, Murphy told Channel 2.

The bus driver had a minor injury.

The truck driver was cited for running a red light, Channel 2 said Friday night.
