A 71-year-old Marietta man whose electric scooter was struck by a sport utility vehicle last Tuesday has died.

Frankin Flynn died Saturday at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.

Flynn was driving a "Hoveround" scooter southbound in the northbound lanes of Franklin Road when he was hit by a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe that was turning south from the parking lot of the Cracker Barrel on Delk Road, Marietta police said.

The Tahoe driver was not charged in the accident.
