Top education leaders from the city and state will participate in "Education Nation Atlanta," a national tour organized by NBC News to create a dialogue about education issues across the country. The event begins May 4 with an opening ceremony attended by Mayor Kasim Reed, Atlanta Superintendent Erroll Davis and Georgia Superintendent John Barge.
