The East Point City Council approveda contract with Lowe Engineering for $50,000. The agreement was to complete the inventory and mapping of the city’s storm drainage system. The Council also granted a special use permit to Charles and Eileen Moss for a variance to occupy a second of two structures located at 1488 Clermont Ave.

The council also approved a contract with Mullins Brother Paving Contractors for $458,366.40. The funds come from the Land Management Improvement Grant of $443,693.98 from the Georgia Department of Transportation matched with $14,672.42 by the city for the milling and overlay project for Fern Valley Drive, Fern Valley Court, Black Fox Trail, Kingston Terrace, Tanglewood Trail, and Cherry Blossom Lane.
