The inaugural ceremony for Earnestine Pittman, East Point’s new mayor, will be held next Monday evening.

Pittman, newly elected councilmember Sharonda Hubbard and returning councilmembers will be sworn into office at 6:30 p.m. at Tri-Cities High School’s performing arts center, 2575 Harris St.

Pittman will deliver an inaugural address following her swearing in. The city council meets in regular session immediately after the ceremony.
